Students monitor school lunch quality with civic engagement tool

Public high school students from the state of Pará in the north part of Brazil gather to monitor the quality of their school lunches and employ Promise Tracker’s methodology in a study sponsored by Humanitas360 and that counts with the academic partnership with the MIT Center for Civic Media and the University of São Paulo’s CoLab for Development and Participation, and the civic partnership of the Social Observatory of Belém and the State Public Ministry. This action by the students is an example of civic education and citizen engagement with the use of technology. Follow their blog for more.
