“Ilegal”: Cinema and Activism

The documentary “Ilegal” has taken the discussion about medical marijuana all over Brazil. After a special screening of the movie in São Paulo, the audience participated at a debate with specialists and activists about themes such as legalization of drugs and policy, prejudice, and marginalization. The debate was moderated by journalist Dênis Russo and counted with the participation of filmmaker Fernando Grostein, activist Margarete Brito, social producer Sérgio Vaz, Congressman Jean Wyllys, and fillmmaker and co-director of the film Raphael Erichsen.
