Discover H360’s activities and projects in 2024
The Humanitas360 Institute is pleased to share its 2024 Annual Report, which compiles in a single document the main actions and projects undertaken throughout the year. Right on the cover, the publication highlights the new Climate Justice program, represented by the Potable Water Coalition for Indigenous Peoples, formed in partnership with the institute’s sponsor, PDR Philanthropic Fund, and the socio-environmental impact startup Água Camelo. The photograph illustrating the report was taken during a visit to the Paiter Suruí people, beneficiaries of the clean water filters in Rondônia and Mato Grosso.
Other key areas of Humanitas360’s Matrix of Programs and Projects are also presented in detail. In the Entrepreneurship Behind and Beyond Bars program, we highlight the partnership with the social business Tereza, whose new workshop in São Paulo occupies offices in the CIVI-CO social impact hub, where H360 is also headquartered. The video series “I’m Free, Now What?”, featuring women who have left the prison system, illustrates the Information and Research program, shedding light on an initiative that take the main doubts of those leaving incarceration to TikTok. Lastly, the Institutional Partnerships program details the involvement of Humanitas360’s president, Patrícia Villela Marino, in two of the country’s important public councils: the Presidency’s Council for Sustainable Economic and Social Development and the National Council for Criminal and Penitentiary Policy, linked to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security.
“It is initiatives like these that exemplify the Humanitas360 Institute’s commitment to positive social impact. A commitment that, now as Chairperson of its Board, I am pleased to call our own,” writes Ambassador and former Minister Rubens Ricupero, who assumed the board chair this year. “This is what the Humanitas360 Institute has dedicated itself to over the last 12 months, with the seriousness and love of justice that are evident in each of the pages that follow,” adds Patrícia Villela Marino.
