Women of H360-backed cooperative in Maranhão are honored in parliamentary session
In celebration of Maranhense Women’s Entrepreneur Day, the Legislative Assembly of the State of Maranhão held a formal session on March 20 to honor women who undertake in different sectors of society.
Conducted by the president of the house, Iracema Vale, and proposed by deputy Guilherme Paz, the session was attended by three women who are part of the cooperative created and supported by the Humanitas360 Institute in the Female Prison Unit of the Pedrinhas Complex in São Luís: cooperative members Bruna Ribeiro, Dorilene Pacheco and Rayane Pereira.
Accompanied by public defenders Suzana Camillo – who was also honored – and Maiele Morais, in addition to the director of the Humanitas360 Institute, Higor Cauê, the cooperative members met with congresswoman Iracema Vale, who received a Tereza brand bag embroidered by them.
