A more just, safe and sustainable society can only be built with the joint effort of third sector organizations, public bodies, companies and individuals. For this reason, the Humanitas360 Institute establishes strategic partnerships with the Public Power, social organizations and private initiative to expand and strengthen its ecosystem of positive social impact. The projects developed in the past year exemplify this collaborative approach and were only possible thanks to the constitution of fundamental partnerships.
The Hemp installation presented at the Venice Biennale of Architecture illustrates this vision, having been carried out in partnership with the Ficus Institute and architects Pedro Mendes da Rocha and Chico Gitahy. Similarly, the “Green Doors: Temporary Leave” project mobilized partners and volunteers who accompanied the H360 team at each temporary exit of incarcerated people in the interior of São Paulo.
This perspective also motivated participation in collegiate bodies linked to the Brazilian State, including the Council for Sustainable Social and Economic Development (from the Presidency of the Republic) and the National Council for Criminal and Penitentiary Policy (from the Ministry of Justice and Public Security) – spaces in which the Institute seeks to contribute to public debate and the improvement of policies, reaffirming its commitment to institutional articulation as a path to systemic change.
