What it is

Video series originally published on TikTok to answer the main questions of people who have recently left the prison system and their families. The content features collaborators from the Humanitas360 Institute and Tereza who have experienced prison and can now help other formerly incarcerated people rebuild their lives with autonomy and dignity. All content is shared free of charge on the H360 channel on TikTok, a social network known for having an active community of family members of imprisoned people.

Objectives

The project aims to convey, in short videos with practical examples, information about the rights and duties of a former prisoner, such as regularizing documents and accessing social benefits. The content is created by combining the experience of H360 collaborators and Tereza with ongoing research by the institute’s legal department, in order to ensure that the tips are not only useful, but also well-founded and up-to-date.
