WHAT IT IS

A booklet aimed at solid waste pickers who work on the streets of large Brazilian cities, promoting collaboration between autonomous pickers and those organized in cooperatives. Developed in partnership with the NGO Cataki and the Federal University of Minas Gerais.

OBJECTIVES

To value and encourage the activity of informal workers who account for almost 80% of the recycled waste in Brazilian metropolises, maximizing the financial return of the activity.
