Sustainable Social Impact Leads Agenda at Latin American Forum in New York
Humanitas360 was featured in debate about citizen empowerment and the process of co-creation within the context of social transformation
As a keynote speaker at the Latin American Philanthropy Forum (LAPI), the president of Humanitas360, Patrícia Villela Marino, did a speech emphasizing how fundamental it is for philanthropy to be a process of co-creation, so that beneficiaries become an intrinsic part of social transformation. Among other keynote speakers were Alejandro Ramírez Magaña (CEO of Cinépolis) and Patricia Guedes (Education Manager of the Itaú Cultural Foundation).
The annual forum is a program promoted by the Latin Trade Group and Worldfund in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank. The purpose is to bring together leaders from various foundations and philanthropists to discuss opportunities and challenges in order to generate sustainable social impact in the region. The meeting happened on June 3rd in the J.P. Morgan headquarters in New York City.
