On November 12, the ecosystem formed by social business Tereza and Humanitas360 Institute was present at the “Baila Com” event, hosted by Alan Strozenberg’s agency Baila Creative Co., in São Paulo. The gathering welcomed American entrepreneur, investor, and speaker Will Weisman for a conversation about how innovation, exponential technologies, and creativity can help drive business growth.

Tereza’s CEO, Flavia Maria da Silva, participated in the event and shared her journey with the audience, from the time she was part of the social cooperative for incarcerated individuals created by H360 in the interior of São Paulo to the present day, when she leads the business that trains and generates income for women formerly incarcerated in the prison system. Responsible for the gift given to guests—the Free Heart produced through upcycling—Tereza also showcased part of its product catalog at a booth set up at the venue.

The event marked a reunion of our ecosystem with publicist and Baila CEO Alan Strozenberg. In April of this year, Humanitas360 Institute President Patrícia Villela Marino and Flavia Maria da Silva shared the stage at SP-Arte at Strozenberg’s invitation, during a panel about the “YM – Your Mom” project, which celebrates maternal love. On that occasion, Patrícia invited Flavia to represent Tereza’s collaborators and all formerly incarcerated women who fight for their recognition as citizens, women, daughters, and mothers.
